Call for Thematic Issue
Pharma Research Bulletin (Pharm. Res. Bull.) invites proposals for thematic issues that explore current and emerging topics in pharmaceutical sciences from a specialized or interdisciplinary perspective.
Submission Details
Thematic issues should be in a hot area and typically include:
- Introductory Review Article: 5,000-7,000 words
- Research/Review Articles: 5-7 articles, 6,000-8,000 words each
Each issue is led by a guest editor, whose name and photograph the issue title will appear on the cover. All articles undergo peer review, benefiting from input by the guest editor and journal editors.The peer review of the articles may be arranged by the guest editor, provided that the list of referees for each article is pre-approved by us. After acceptance of the thematic proposal, it will be displayed on the website along with a brief CV of the Section Editor and his/her photograph.
Proposal Requirements (3-4 pages)
- Title of the thematic issue
- Subject and significance to pharmaceutical research
- Rationale for the issue
- List of proposed articles with abstracts
- Names of potential contributors having a respectable H-Index (10 or above).
- Proposed timeline
Proposals must receive initial approval from the managing editor prior to submission of manuscripts. Send proposals to editor@pharmresbull.com.
Guest Editor Responsibilities
- Invite and coordinate contributions.
- Ensure manuscripts align with the journal’s aim, scope, and quality.
- Provide editorial feedback and manage revisions.
- Prepare the introductory article and oversee the submission process.
Upon acceptance, guest editors work closely with the editor-in-chief and managing editor to finalize the issue.
